Important Update! - V1.0.8 is now available!

Hello Tamers!

A lot happened after the last update, so please, take some time to read this change-log, because a few important things have occurred.

If you're a returning player, please read carefully all the warnings bellow

NEW ENGINE!

As some of you might be aware, the engine I used to create Digital Tamers 2 was very old, and is no longer compatible with my PC. Because of that I was not able to keep working on it and was forced to update the whole project to the newest version of the same engine.

As a result, support for the 32-bit Android version has been discontinued, as it is no longer possible to export the game to it. HOWEVER, Digital Tamers 2 now supports 64-bit devices, making it playable on newer phones!

WARNING!

Regarding the Android version of the game, as v1.0.7 runs in a 32-bit structure, and v1.0.8 runs in a 64-bit structure, they'll be installed as separated apps, thus NOT naturally carrying the save file from one version of the game to the other. You will still be able to play both at the same time, however they won't interact and you'll have to manually transfer the save from one version to the other.

In order to transfer your save file from v1.0.7 to v1.0.8, follow the official save transfer guide by accessing >>HERE<<

WARNING 2!

The placeable decoration system has been temporarily disabled in order to investigate if they are the source of the save crashes that some players were experiencing. It will be revised and reworked in order to return in a future update.

SEIZURE ALERT!

When loading your save file from v1.0.7 to v1.0.8 for the first time, you may be greeted by a flashing background (or some other visual bug) - Immediately navigate to Database > Decoration and change your background to anything else in order to fix the issue.

PC version

Since the PC version stores the save file in a different folder, PC players won't be affected by the engine change, and will be able to access their save files normally. Just install the newer version of the game in order to keep playing.

However it is now required to install the game. it won't be a single runtime executable anymore.

Ok, with all the formalities out of the way, let's go to the list of things that changed!
