I love this game, but I think to optimize the guidance in the game is important, develop the city and village is so difficult and not to know what to do.Though the same system also in digimon world I konw, but I don't think this is an interesting system at all.
Furthermore,if vorvomon can get it whole chain of evolution and pulsemon, gammamon can be in the game in future will make this game more enjoyable.
Sounds like you haven’t finished that quest… the discord group has a lot of tips and guides for all the various quests I’d recommend joining if you need help since most don’t really tell you how to complete them even I can’t remember 100% but I will try, I think at the part you’re at you need to talk to some of the digimon in the village who mention him training hard then find him again in the sewers (I think) where you fight again.
Story spoilers below:
After you beat Black Agumon again he gets mad runs off, talk to the villagers again who will mention he has turned into a black Metalgreymon and is attacking people then he attacks Server City (which is a big town), you are asked to go save the city which after you do it unlocks and you can start fixing buildings and recruiting a lot more Digimon including Meramon.
This game is much better than the first one. It's very admirable that you took almost every part of that and improved on it. Unfortunately, it still isn't good. It has a lot of shit keeping me from recommending it. The grind is the biggest hurdle because it isn't a fun grind. It feels arbitrary and not well-scaled.
Fuck you for making the grind for materials needed to build shops in server city such a pain. You really should've had a couple of recruitable digimon that upgraded the lumber mill and quarry or have some more early game uses for the wood and rocks so I had more of an incentive to stock up on them before I needed 50 Digihardwood.
And why did you bring species exp back? I don't think anyone likes it as it just adds another value you need to grind for. You didn't even properly distribute all the sources. Aquatic and dragon exp are plentiful at almost all levels but beast digimon are only common at low levels. You forgot to give a reliable option for grinding mid or late-level beast and bird EXP. You might want to change what spawns in a zone or two if not make up a new one to fill that void.
Also, the combat sound effects are still kinda poor. You're already "stealing" designs and assets from other games like the pokemon orbs and the challenge mode stadium being a freedom planet background. Why not steal the sound effects from Megaman Star Force or Fossil Fighters? Those games had great sound design.
Whether you think my criticism is worth listening to or not I want you to know this game of yours has potential it just needs refinement.
I agree each species needs it's own high level area like Aquatic & Dragons do, best way I've found to get other species exp is to refresh the challenges until you get a challenge that has the species exp you need at the right level, it's still tedious but if your monster can complete it itself you can basically afk it while watching youtube.
Yeah, that's the only good way to get species exp at later levels for most species since the payout-to-effort ratio challenge mode fights seem like an oversight only balanced by the fact what bouts are available is random. But I don't think I need to say how in order to grind for something you need to either get lucky or grind for tokens to gatcha it is.
I made an itch account to say this game is awesome. Haven't played or watched any Digimon and downloaded this on a whim. I was a bit bored at the very beginning due to how slow energy recovers without any skills, but quickly found myself eagerly training all sorts of different baby mons to see what they could turn into.
The battling is surprisingly engaging, and your mon's AI is capable enough to make winning exchanges without your input (depending on matchup).
I'm still unlocking some features as of commenting, but I've opened up several new areas and have been enjoying the progression! My strongest mon right now is an XV-mon from a ClearAgumon (my personal favorite so far). Looking forward to playing more and meeting all these Digimon for the first time!
I love this game. What I'm talking about isn't important but please help increase the drop rate for the deluxe mushroon. I spent at least 5 full hours looking for these damn mushrooms in sewer road and all I got was... goddamn Acrid fruit and poop, did I do something wrong or just bad luck?
Another 2 hours passed and I was so bored with Gokimon. Now in my digi storage I have 5 Gokimon, 2 Sukamon, 2 Numemon, 1 Geremon, 1 Bakemon and Deluxe Mushroom 0. I think I'm going to insane.
like vaas say : "Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is? Insanity is doing the exact... same fucking thing... over and over again expecting... shit to change... " it is me now
Hey bro, trying out the game I spotted this lil mistake here, it is when they are "hungry", not important but I suppose it takes less than two minutes to fix
Have to help Medicmon so he builds a hospital in server city which then sells the item. He appeared in the Drive Savanna for me and asked for 20 Digiherb, Rainbow Soup and something else with a 2 hour time-limit. Rainbow soup is cooked by the bird digimon in server city so you'll probably need that unlocked before he appears.
i've been playing this game since it was released(never played the first game though) and it continuously blows my mind that it's a fan-made game. I've loved the Vpets and this game almost feels like a way more robust version of them! this game is very cleverly designed and the battle system is fun and different!
though, i wish aging was quicker, as i've already essentially beaten the game by raising alphamon and they're only age 10. i know there are items to lower the lifespan of a digimon, but was hoping to make use of the reborn mechanic earlier. i also am hoping more digimon get added in the future. the roster is already pretty beefy, but i would be ecstatic to see newer digis like gammamon get added eventually!
Alright I'm a bit confused about the friendship level. I'm feeding my buddy, winning fights, and caring for him proper, but his friendship keeps going up then going back down. Like, without me doing anything. I'll just go back to base after a successful excursion and he'll now hate me
this took me a while to figure out as well, but when you see the "angry" red speech bubble appear over your digimon, you have to tap them to avoid friendship going down!
So I've been worried and about this, too. Does tapping them too much when they don't want also make friendship go down? It's a bit hard to balance without any indication?
If they sing click them, If they get the angry speech bubble click them, if they have the scribbles in a speech bubble use the soccer ball.
Every Digimon also has a favourite food (and hated food), Friendship goes up a decent amount feeding them their favorite food (The icon will get a star next to it when you find it's favourite)
Later in the game after you recruit more digimon to the city there are some food you can cook that will increase friendship easily.
That's a old suggestion I've been making since the first game together with the better Seraphimon sprite, but it seems the dev is really sensible to critics as his fanboys too. You must say everything is perfect or else...
Dragonrod, please, grow up. You create six account to negativate my comment hahaha next time me and my guys will flood this piece of shit with bad comments because of you or your fans. Its just a matter of my patience going low. You don't know what I can do...
Duuuude, what are you talking about bro? Take your own advice man, just be thankful this guy made this *excellent* piece of media - for free - for you to enjoy. Show a little gratitude; it's better for your health. It's 1 guy, bro. One. And he's developing a game - which is a very difficult process, for an incredible (but sadly, dying) franchise that we *all* love here - and by extension helping to keep it alive, without asking you for a dime. Please bro, learn some humility.
Hello dear friend, as always an excellent game, thank you for creating these wonderful games 😎 by chance will you include the jogress of angewomon and ledydevimon in mastermon?
Why did you delete your last comment only to repost it? Are you hoping the dev sees it and goes "Wow this guy is totally railing me! I should listen to his feedback immediately!"
Sin duda tiene un potencial aprovechable, pero siguen faltando cosas muy necesarias como poder subir y bajar el volumen de la banda sonora u otra cosa, aparte un sistema para luchar con amigos o implementar un sistema de ranked online no estaria mal.
Dragonrod said there will be no online functionality at this time, because (quote) "online interactions would require a lot of knowledge, trial and error coding (since I never made it before), a dedicated server (which costs time and money to maintenance), than I'd have to keep an eye for really unbalanced things to fix, hackers, game breaking errors, etc. A lot of small things that would require a huge amount of time and money
and since I do it all by myself, and have a job and a social life, I do prefer to keep things simple "
No, it's not. After all, Patamon's evolutionary path is one of the best and most favored ones among fans. So that one person losing time with shit Digimon that no one knows or care and say F... to Patamon and Seraphimon is what is weird. And even more weird is your comment, total nonsense.
It's frustrating that Digimon fans are whiny and entitled when it comes to free fan games. Which is weird since Bandai gives us non-Japanese and non-Chinese fans literally nothing, so we should be grateful for anything at this point.
Weird is your comment. He gives his attention to Digimon no one cares or know and give a f... to Patamon's Mega form that's one of the most favorite of the fanbase.
Hello. First of all, great game. I just have a few questions/feedbacks:
1. Is the card drop rate supposed to be that low? I was under the impression that the raising cycle in this game is fight wild digimons>fight card digimons>fight challenge battles to get the required racial EXP while grinding bits. But getting cards is just too hard. I average on 5 cards per 10 minutes (duration of one EXP booster item). Can you crank up the drop rate and make the process more comfortable? It might make the game faster, but RNG is NOT a good time sink design in games
2. Is the Digimon data drop supposed to be that high? I get like 5 datas for every card drop. I often grind cards but instead I got my storage absolutely filled with digimons, which I will likely never raise. Why not just swap the rate of these two? Or failing that, maybe give players the ability to turn unneeded digimons into EXP instead of just deleting them?
3. Following the previous point, I am only planning to raise a couple Digimons because I wanted to utilize the ReBorn mechanic. Instead of putting my level 100 Mega on the bench to raise another one, I want generations of Digimons who get stronger with each ReBorn. I liked this mechanic from the official Digimon World games. Filling the Digimon database by continuously raising generations of Digimons that inherited the previous gen's base stats, stat caps, and unique abilities that allows players to mix and match them is a far better time sink than grinding random cards to raise digimons you will inevitably put in a shelf.
4. Speaking of good time sinks amd randomness, please please please remove the Wandering Merchant mechanics. The only reason I haven't recruited Seadramon yet is because I have raised 3 different megas and have literally never seen a single Sangomon to buy lures from. Other merchants like Monmon and Tapirmon are also a considerable pain to buy from, and they have all the useful items. Like I said, RNG is not a good timesink. I would rather waste time killing and hatching digimons over and over than waiting for random drops and merchants.
I'd just like to chime in I really think being able to delete / exchange datas for species EXP is a great idea. I also have a very small collection of digimon I want to actually raise, because of the reborn mechanic, and that would be way more useful than ... anything else, I don't need two hundred individual digimon, lol.
Also agreeing that some of the rng is kind of whack / the time sink and age mechanic is really drawn out. I don't want it to go by super fast but I've spent literal HOURS playing and my digimon is only age 1. It also took me a couple of hours to even, for instance, get the golden acorns to even open challenges, leaving me just... stuck for a while. Extreme RNG dependency is meh.
Why after the game was updated, now the drop rate of xp pastille has decreased drastically? Now I have a hard time getting it after fighting wild digimon many times?
My game refuses to be in windowed mode for some reason. Worked the first time, then it's stuck in full screen mode permanently. To be exact, tapping Alt+Enter reverts it to windowed mode for an instant before it switches back.
golden acorn is from Dina Plains it will spawn somehow if you stay long enough ( yes very long, the chance is random just your luck ) it will spawn on a tree just click when you see things on a tree (dont go back and forth to the map too much.. just stay there, yes it takes me very long too X_X)
the train on the village is just decoration X_X its his home :/
Is meicoomon actually obtainable to raise/play as in game? She's right there on the start-up splash screen, but I can't seem to find her to digivolve into?
After finally getting the acorns to drop, I think my main critique is they're too random. I felt frustrated and completely stuck because I ended up with a rookie I couldn't evolve because of lack of exp... And the acorns just. Wouldn't show up. Consider maybe a higher spawn rate? At least when you haven't unlocked that mode yet, as it makes it much more possible to actually evolve what feel like dead end mons when first starting out, which could def drive people off, I think.
you can increase the chance of gold acorn to appear by raising the tamers skill ( it took me around 5 ~ 10 mins after unlocked it, the one with reduce chance of trash appearing)
Thats all you need to know there :x 5 Hearts which are parted in 5 sections each. 5 Hearts = 25 sections too fill, or what is it you wanna knew exactly?

I can't do it even if I want to pay for it. Please allow me to install it on Android 14.
It's not a matter of allowing, the game isn't compatible.
Does anyone know what the box with the dot evolution requirement is? (Seen on Lucemon, and Cyberdramon)
it's an item that drops from card digimon. i think it's more common from the higher level cards
I love this game, but I think to optimize the guidance in the game is important, develop the city and village is so difficult and not to know what to do.Though the same system also in digimon world I konw, but I don't think this is an interesting system at all.

Thx for all the hard work you put in this game.
Excuse me
Betamon
Meramon
Nanimon
Can join the village???
Thx
Yes all 3 can be recruited.
For Betamon I believe you have to catch a certain amount of fish
For the other two you'll first have to do the giant Koromon/Black Agumon quest line and then the requirements are below.
Nanimon: 5K wins and all challenges completed
Meramon: Clear Fire Mastery : Endurance I and II challenge
Thanks for the answer
I already clear fire mastery but he still refused
Have you done the Big Koromon/Black Agumon Quest?
Aka, Have you unlocked the Server city map?
yes, I already beat Black Agumon and he have his own home
Sounds like you haven’t finished that quest… the discord group has a lot of tips and guides for all the various quests I’d recommend joining if you need help since most don’t really tell you how to complete them even I can’t remember 100% but I will try, I think at the part you’re at you need to talk to some of the digimon in the village who mention him training hard then find him again in the sewers (I think) where you fight again.

Wish I could toss all those random digimon I’ve collected into a meat grinder and get exp that way.

Have to help Medicmon so he builds a hospital in server city which then sells the item. yes, it does make friendship go down if you tap them too much.

Please, a system to transfer saved data from the mobile to the PC and vice versa or the implementation of saving in the cloud
u.u

yeah need transfer data... all my strong digimon on pc. and im to lazy grind on phone

Water - ripples in Oasis
Mushroom - ripples in Sewer

Ok thx you
Hello dear friend, as always an excellent game, thank you for creating these wonderful games 😎 by chance will you include the jogress of angewomon and ledydevimon in mastermon?
X antibody + King whaman (xros) possibly in 1.1.5 please. The game is really fun and challenging, a perfect combo, I hope the game flourishes.
This has been an excellent time waster. I don't know Digimon as well as Pokemon, but i'm still having a blast learning and playing all the same!
Why did you delete your last comment only to repost it? Are you hoping the dev sees it and goes "Wow this guy is totally railing me! I should listen to his feedback immediately!"
Go touch grass, let the dev cook.
Just report and or block him, its better for us all xD
Gonna cry?

Es cierto pero yo quise decir en LAN solo para jugar con amigos.
Please add a win rate reset item or method.
Sadly there's no way to install anyway if you are on Android 14 -- it just isn't compatible. Will try the Windows version
For a free game with a large roster made by 1 person, that sure is a weird complaint.
No, it's not. After all, Patamon's evolutionary path is one of the best and most favored ones among fans. So that one person losing time with shit Digimon that no one knows or care and say F... to Patamon and Seraphimon is what is weird. And even more weird is your comment, total nonsense.

I'm sorry your favourite Digimon isn't getting the attention you think it should, but there are many Digimon people like more than the patamon line
Fuck them
thanks for the game, it's really addicting and fun!
can't wait for more future updates, hope mervamon will be added
You could volunteer to translate it yourself.

eyo. I would like to know
How much this gonna cost once the project takes off
Like, its full release price. Maybe I'll support the Patreon page if the dev has one.
it's a fangame of an existing franchise, it literally cannot make money
But he is making money, you can "donate" it trhough the game
Why after the game was updated, now the drop rate of xp pastille has decreased drastically? Now I have a hard time getting it after fighting wild digimon many times?
My game refuses to be in windowed mode for some reason. Worked the first time, then it's stuck in full screen mode permanently. To be exact, tapping Alt+Enter reverts it to windowed mode for an instant before it switches back.
You can switch it in the options menu
?? There's an options menu?? Where?
Last option in the in the "Digivice" Menu
OMFG I really should've looked closer... thanks dude!
How to get golden acorn ???
How to use the village train??
THX
golden acorn is from Dina Plains it will spawn somehow if you stay long enough ( yes very long, the chance is random just your luck ) it will spawn on a tree just click when you see things on a tree (dont go back and forth to the map too much.. just stay there, yes it takes me very long too X_X)
the train on the village is just decoration X_X its his home :/
Thank you for your patient answer
Does anyone know how to complete the Seadramon quest?
Use crayfish lure/frog lure when catching fish as bait and wait for a fish to jump on it.
This game is really fun but unfortunately the Android version doesn't work on my S24 :(
Is meicoomon actually obtainable to raise/play as in game? She's right there on the start-up splash screen, but I can't seem to find her to digivolve into?
I havent see meicoomon, but maybe someday it will be added :x
Not yet, but hopefully she will be added soon.
Aging is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too slow.
Needs to be like...10x faster. Minimum.
After finally getting the acorns to drop, I think my main critique is they're too random. I felt frustrated and completely stuck because I ended up with a rookie I couldn't evolve because of lack of exp... And the acorns just. Wouldn't show up. Consider maybe a higher spawn rate? you can increase the chance of gold acorn to appear by raising the tamers skill ( it took me around 5 ~ 10 mins after unlocked it, the one with reduce chance of trash appearing)
How do I check how much friendship I have with a Digimon? I know there are hearts, but I do not know their value.
Thats all you need to know there :x 5 Hearts which are parted in 5 sections each.
5 Hearts = 25 sections too fill, or what is it you wanna knew exactly?
oooh okay I just need to grind then for full friendship XD Thanks
A tip, find out how often you can pat your digi (click on it), then do a fight, back to pat and so on, for me its the fastes way :x
volcanicdramon,pls😭
I found some bugs!
